 The
Annapurna Basecamp is the destination of this trekking
tour is considered to be a natural amphitheater as it
is surrounded all around by the different peaks of Annapurna
range namely: Annapurna South, Annapurna 1st, Machhapuchhre
and Barashshikhar. Situated at an altitude of 4300m.
The Annapurna Basecamp can be reached by passing through
the forests of bamboo and rhododendron.
The route to Ghorepani and Annapurna sanctuary starts
from Birethanti, and as you trek upward ahead you will
encounter on the way the beautiful Gurung villages of
Ghandrung, Chhomrong, Dhampus and the rural communities
of Modi Khola. In the course of these 14 days long trekking
you will observe with enthusiasm the life style of the
farmers dedicating to make their lands fertile. Moreover,
this trekking route apart from other could also be the
destination for nature lovers. |
