Royal Chitwan National Park is located 160 Km Southwest of Kathmandu, 140 Km Southeast of Pokhara. The national park is large area of low, heavily forested hills bordering India in the south, a heaven of wildlife including one horned rhino, leopard, varieties of deer, wild boar and around 400 species of birds. The park, formerly a royal hunting reserve covers nearly 400 square miles of dense forest and is home to nearly 60 Bengal Tigers.

The area has two distinct seasons - the wet monsoon season (June through September) and the dry winter monsoons. The best time to visit the park is March through May. The Elephant grass at this time of the year grows up to 20 feet, which is too short to provide cover to rhinos, which prefer this reverie environment. The nearest airport is Meghauly and regular flights from Kathmandu are possible by the different domestic airlines.

Drive to Chitwan:
The representative from the Resort will have been waiting you at Chitrasari and will transfer to the Resort. You will be welcome by the welcome drink. After well come drink, the nature guide will brief about the program.

Rest for a few while; by the time lunch will be ready.

After lunch, you will be taken to the Tharu village visit. "Tharu" is the one of the oldest tribal group of Nepal who had entered to Nepal around 600 years ago from India. They live in the shorthorn most part of Nepal are really backward in education and every thing in the society. They are still unique coz they have different living of all in the society. Dinner in the evening.

Full day activities in Chitwan:
You will be wakening up early in the morning feed you break fast and then take you for Elephant riding for 3 hours. This is the good opportunity to see the wild animals and birds. You will have a few while for rest after Elephant ride. Lunch in the afternoon. You will be then taken to the Jungle excursion and Canoe trip and Elephant breeding center. Culture program in the nighttime just after the dinner.

Bird watching after breakfast and then depart to Kathmandu or Pokhara
