Description:
This trek starts from north of Kathmandu
valley. The trail goes through Shivapuri watershed
forest and passes through the top of Shivapuri ridge
(2729m). After four to six hours hike from capital
city Kathmandu you will experience the great views
of higher Himalayan range, more than 50 peaks including
higher than 8,000 meters. Bouddha Himal (6672m), Manaslu
(8163m), Langtang (8234m), Gaurishankar Himal (7134m),
Dorjeelakpa (6990m), Cho Oyu (8201m), Ganesh Himal
(7429m) and the world's highest peak Mt. Everest (8850m)
can be viewed in this trek. The trek ends at Nagarkot,
which is another famous viewpoint of the Himalayan
range to the north east of Capital City Kathmandu.
This trek does not require prior experience of hiking.
